Our versatile Meadow Blouse buttons down the front and at the cuffs, and ties at the waist. Pair with our matching ‘Kyōsai Skeletons’ Popover Dress for a total look.

Our original print of skeletons frolicking in a graveyard was designed by DAPPER DAY Founder, Justin J., with 19th-century illustrations by the celebrated (and notorious) Japanese artist Kawanabe Kyōsai 河鍋暁斎 1831-1889.

Kyōsai created the name he would make famous by combining the characters kyō (狂) with sai (斎), which translates from the Japanese to either “parodic studio” or “crazy studio.”

Our ‘Kyōsai Skeletons’ collection will also be available in-person at our DAPPER DAY Expo, November 11+12, 2023 at the Disneyland Hotel Convention Center. Get passes here.
