Calling all crafters and quilters - Here's your chance to design and create with our very own fabric! This is the same fabric used in our 'Kyōsai 'Skeletons' Cotton Popover Dress.
Our print of skeletons playing in a graveyard was designed by DAPPER DAY Founder, Justin J., with 19th-century illustrations by the celebrated (and notorious) Japanese artist Kawanabe Kyōsai 河鍋暁斎 1831-1889.
Nicknamed "The Painting Demon" by a mentor, likely for his prolific output – and fondness for sake, he is credited with creating the first manga magazine in 1874.
