"The White Rabbit is the first character we are introduced to from Wonderland and it is he that sparks Alice’s curiosity and leads her down the rabbit hole. While many of Lewis Carroll’s characters have an element of reality, I always imagined the White Rabbit to simply be a real rabbit! Well dressed, well spoken and a poor time-keeper as we know, but just a regular rabbit. It’s these elements of ‘reality’ that make the reader believe that Wonderland just might be possible after all...
