Anaheim, Disney's Grand Californian® Hotel, Sequoia Ballroom

PARKING: If you are visiting the DAPPER DAY Boutique, or our Charles Phoenix or I am Dandy events in Disney's Grand Californian, but NOT visiting the theme parks, you may use self parking at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel for $15, or $22 valet. Let the parking attendant know you are attending a Dapper Day event in the hotel. If you are visiting the theme parks it is best to use the Mickey & Friends parking structure for $16 so you will have a shorter walk when you leave the parks. The Mickey & Friends tram will drop you off in Downtown Disney very near the back entry to the Grand Californian located next to Sephora. Disneyland Resort Parking info link.

NO PHYSICAL TICKETS WILL BE MAILED. Your tickets will be available (under the last name used to make the purchase) at our Will Call desks outside the Sequoia Ballroom in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel Conference Center starting at 1:30p (90 minutes before the show).

Join pop culture humorist and author Charles Phoenix as he sweeps us away on a fun-filled adventure to the early days of Disneyland when every visit was a day worth dressing for!

With his trademark enthusiasm, quick wit, and keen eye for oddball detail, Charles pulls from his vast collection of “found” vintage slides to tell the amazing back-stories and glories of a visit to mid-century Disneyland. Enjoy legendary long-gone attractions such as The House of the Future, Skyway, Skull Rock, Rainbow Caverns, Flying Saucers, and The Carousel of Progress, all populated with guests dressed in fabulous 50’s and 60’s fashions. Come experience all this and much more projected on the big screen in glorious KODACHROME color!

All seats $29 - Purchase tickets online here.

Charles Phoenix’s books will be available for purchase outside the Sequoia Ballroom Theater before and after the show, and Charles will be signing following the show.

And join us Sunday February 23, 2014 for "DAPPER DAY® at the Parks" when everyone is encouraged to visit Disneyland and Disney California Adventure in their "Sunday best."
